Faithful Stories Limited respects and actively protects the privacy of all those who access our website and social media pages. However, we do not accept any liability for any action or repercussion which may occur from users:
- Opening the site on devices
- Reading and interacting with our information
- Contacting our organisation via the sites, in person, via phone or via email.
- Using Stripe payments systems within our online store, or paying for products via bank transfer method.
While the sites programs, WordPress plugins and other third-party companies, which we utilise, such as YouTube, may access some of your personal data when you visit either site, Faithful Stories Limited will primarily only use your data to:
- Fulfil orders via methods outlined within our Online Shop,
- Respond to enquiries and ‘Interactive Activities’ submissions made via email, the Contact Us form, in person or through phone.
- From time to time, do a statistical analysis of our website and social media’s ‘online presence’, which may include an assessment to how our audience utilises our sites.
If you are communicating with us regarding competitions or our ‘Interactive Activities’, we ask, and therefore assume, that all contact details given at time of submission are those of parents/ carers/ guardians, who are over the age of 16. We request that any submitted activity work will not contain personal or identifiable information such as the child’s full name, age, address, or images of the children etc.
Faithful Stories Limited will not store or use personal information that identifies minors unless we pertain explicit parental permission to do so. Likewise, we have written consent to utilise any image or footage of adults that are identified on our sites. Facebook users, who are over the age of 16, imply consent to identify themselves when they submit posts and stories to our page, as this will link our site to their Facebook profile picture and name, which will be embedded within the submitted post. Likewise, by uploading videos, files and photos to our social media, Facebook users imply consent to being identifiable within the post’s content and also give Faithful Stories Limited permission to use and store any content attached to the post. However, we will not allow posts that explicitly identifies personal information about another identifiable person, without that person’s direct consent, or in the case of a minor the parent’s/guardian’s consent.
We confirm that we will keep the information on a secure server and that we will comply fully with all applicable UK Data Protection legislation and regulations. Payments:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Stripe stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways offered by Stripe.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
